XSR48 - the world's first true Superboat

The XSR48, produced by British-based XSMG Marine, is capable of speeds in excess of 100 mph with real race boat handling. But style has not been sacrificed for speed. The XSR48 combines the DNA and high performance of a supercar with superyacht styling to create the world's first true superboat.

Developed to suit the tastes and the pockets of the world's growing numbers of ultra rich individuals, the XSR48 comes with a price tag of around £1 million. And the boat will be exclusive too, with only 100 to be produced.

The XSR48 has won the 2008 Conde Nast Traveller Innovation & Design Award for Transport.
